Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains how SeatMap, operated by 9451-0468 Québec Inc., handles information when you sign in and use the Service.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and, when you choose Google sign-in, your name provided by Google. A Google account identifier and profile picture may be received while verifying the sign-in, but SeatMap does not retain them in your account.
- SeatMap content: workspace, team member, seating map, event, and booking information that you or your organization enters.
- Technical information: basic device, browser, IP address, session, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the Service.
3. Google sign-in
Google sign-in is used only to verify your identity and create or access your SeatMap account. SeatMap retains only your verified email address and name from the sign-in response. We do not request access to your Google Drive, contacts, calendar, Gmail content, or password.
4. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, provide seating and booking features, manage your workspace, send essential service messages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use Google user data for advertising.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to operate SeatMap, when directed by your organization, or when required by law. Google receives information when you choose Google sign-in and handles it under Google’s own privacy terms.
We use an email delivery provider to send one-time verification codes, workspace invitations, and essential service messages. The provider processes the recipient’s email address, message content, and delivery metadata only as needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot those messages.
6. Retention and deletion
Account and SeatMap content is retained while the account or workspace is active, unless a longer period is required by law or needed for security. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Disconnecting SeatMap from your Google account stops future Google access but does not by itself delete information already stored in SeatMap.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. SeatMap does not store your Google password. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as SeatMap evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
